About Reboot Motion

Reboot Motion enables large organizations to excel in biomechanics at scale. We do this through our expertise in data, physics and biomechanics—delivering metrics, tools, and reports that help front offices, R&D teams, and coaches improve player performance.

We are the biomechanics experts in MLB and are currently expanding to the NBA.

But we need help—first in expanding horizontally across elite sports. Then to move into larger markets like fitness and healthcare.

Specifically, we are looking for someone to:

  1. Work with Reboot Motion leadership to fine tune the product roadmap and craft our vision to external partners.
  2. Own partner success. Reboot’s focus is helping large organizations excel in biomechanics at scale. Constant engagement with customers is not just about building for the future, it is also about ensuring our partners’ happiness today.
  3. Run Company All-Hands, including planning, grooming, and demos.

Requirements

We have none.

Fine, we have a few.

An ideal candidate would have some technical product management experience—most likely in B2B software.

More important than their past is their future. An ideal candidate would be looking to grow into a Product Manager and eventual VP of Product. They also would be looking to start their own tech company someday.

In fact, rather than looking backward, see if you are a fit by checking out your ideal one-year review:

Your One Year Review

Over the past year, you’ve become our trusted partner. Your commitment to our mission, your comfort with ambiguity, and your bias towards action is apparent daily.

You helped develop our NBA Team Partnership strategy from the ground up, discovering how we had to adjust our product from MLB. You also delivered that message 1) internally to our team and 2) externally to our partners.

Additionally, you worked directly with our early B2B tech partners, ensuring the success of those relationships, while driving the rest of the team to build a more flexible platform for rapid expansion.

Because of your work, we:

  1. Increased our market leading MLB footprint.
  2. Are well on our way to becoming the biomechanics leader in the NBA.
  3. Expanded our B2B tech partnerships...and started new ones.

How did you drive success? Here are a few of the key things we think helped get the job done:

  1. Your empathy. Between our pro teams, B2B partners, and internal team, everyone has problems they need solved. You know how to listen, synthesize ideas, and drive change.
  2. Your leadership. Our small team needs to balance competing priorities. You make sure we stay on track with what matters most.
  3. Your desire to learn and teach. You are equally as happy learning about biomechanics as you are teaching us about product management.

Congratulations on an outstanding first year with Reboot!
